Every member is let in through the same application, and a Novice pays nothing. Go further when you are ready: post, release, curate.

Choose how far into the club you go

Novice, free

Free once your application is approved. A gallery of your work, open to the world. Three matches a month. Read the posts in the salon; posting is an Apprentice's.

Apprentice, $9.95 a month

Or $119.40 a year. In the club: post calls, mentorship and gatherings, and match as much as you like.

Creator, $19 a month

Or $228 a year. Everything an Apprentice has, plus releases to stream, video and film, patrons and licences, and boosted exposure across the club.

Curator, $25 a month

Or $300 a year. Unlimited posting and matches, boosted exposure, and the power to curate salons, playlists and shows of your favourite artists.

Half off your first month

While the club is new, a founding member who signs up for a month pays half for the first one: $4.97 as an Apprentice, $9.50 as a Creator, $12.50 as a Curator. After that it is the usual price, and you can cancel whenever you like.

Every tier sits behind the same application. A person reads it, and we answer either way.

Questions about money

What does a Novice get?
A gallery of your work that anybody can see, three matches a month on the dance card, and the salon to read: the call board, the swaps and the gatherings. Posting your own starts at Apprentice.
What counts as a match?
An invitation you send on the dance card. A Novice sends three a month; every paid tier sends as many as they like.
What does boosted exposure mean?
Creators and Curators are shown first on the members' grid, the dance card and the walls.
Does Phyrne take a cut when somebody pays me?
No. Phyrne takes nothing from your sales, patronage or licences. Stripe charges to process each payment, a flat 2.9% and 30 cents, and every order shows that fee and your net before the money moves.
Can I change tier or cancel?
Yes, whenever you like, from Membership in your profile. A change is prorated, and a cancelled tier lasts to the end of what you paid for.
Do the people who pay me need an account?
No. A listener, a buyer, a patron or a licensee gives an email address and a card, and nothing else.
Can I stop selling and keep my work?
Yes. Your work, your prices, and the name and email address of everyone who paid you are yours. Closing your work to the public stops new sales and new patrons, and puts the patrons already on a tier on hold: nothing is charged to them until it opens again.
