  1. I walk until I find the picture, which can take a very long time. I keep a notebook of tides, weather and sunrise times, because the picture depends on all three. I know the tide times better than my own phone number. Here for the dance card as well. I know the good light in Savannah and will share it.

  5. Most of what is here was made in fog, rain or the half hour before sunrise. I print in Thomas Square, in a small room with a very large printer.
